Our Staff
Debbie Bowler
Scheme Manager
Scheme Manager Debbie helped launch the scheme in 1990.
A mother of two and grandmother of five, she has always been interested in parent/child attachment, psychology and family dynamics – qualifying as a counsellor in 2015.
Alongside Home-Start and her grandchildren, her other passion is Jive Dancing.
Rosie Neale
Dartford Senior Co-ordinator and Special Needs Lead
Rosie has been with Home-Start since 2008. She is the Co-ordinator for the Dartford. She has a life-long passion in supporting children with special needs; as well as being a proud member of the Down’s Syndrome Organisation and a mother of three children. She particularly enjoys working with families and volunteers, supporting those families reach their full potential and their achievable goals.
Kerry Ashdown
Swanley Project Worker
Previous home visiting volunteer mother of 2 Kerry Ashdown, has been employed part-time to increase volunteer numbers in Swanley. In order to manage higher numbers of families in need.
Carley Hefferman
Gravesend Project Worker
Mother of 3 Carley works as a Wentworth Primary School Teaching Assistant
in addition to working for Home-Start two days a week – focused on Gravesend volunteers and families
Molly Aylwin
Mother and Grandmother Molly has been a home visiting volunteer for 3 years, before becoming an administrator
Our Trustees
Jonathon Hawkes
Jonathon has been a trustee since 2019 become Chair in 2024. He lives in Swanscombe, serving as a governor at a local school. Jonathon works in the transport sector and has a strong interest in strategy and governance matters.
Dawn Funge
Retired Head Teacher Dawn Funge, with extensive Child Protection and Special Needs experience, has been a Trustee since 2022
Wonyo Setufe
Treasurer and trained home visiting volunteer Wonyu Setufe joined the scheme in 2022, bringing with him valuable accounting experience plus working with children with additional needs
Debbie Graham
Debbie joined the Board of Trustees in 2024. As a Registered Midwife, she brings with her experience of working within maternity services as a clinical practitioner, a Director of Midwifery and as a Strategic Lead both in England and abroad. She has a special interest in health inequalities and creating better health and social outcomes for us all, believing that strong family bonds from the earliest stages of life are essential for creating a healthier and more equitable future.
Lynne Frondigoun
Home visiting volunteer Lynne Frondigoun joined us in 2023 as a result of the GMTV Million Minutes Appeal. Becoming a Trustee two years later, representing our volunteer team. And helps weekly at our Thursday Support Group. Mother and Grandmother Lynne works part-time as a Chiropodist and volunteered previously at a local school
Cllr George Holt
Cllr George Holt joined the Board in 2023, bringing experience of local community for potential partnership working
